Square Enix said they had a "New blockbuster title" to show during the TGS which takes place this weekend.

"New blockbuster title"? More like they had three things up their ass in hiding. Kingdom Hearts 2 for the PS2, which I had thought would be the only thing originally annoucned. Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, which I don't know if it's just a movie or a whole new game. And something completely unexpected.. Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories for GBA. I despise the TGS. It always comes with too many damn good things.
Oh, and not to mention I just learned now about Megaman X Command Mission, some RPG set in the MMX world. Gamecube or PS2. It's a good and a bad thing.. good for all of these games which have the potential for kick-ass-age, bad because it'll be too much crap to play. (Or watch, if Advent Children is just a DVD movie.)

Alright, plans for today: for now, get off and do my three or so Algebra assignments while watching more of the Futurama commentry. Once that is done, I'll get back online while I'm typing up the last question for my summer reading thing in English, then that's about all for today's work I do believe. Physics we've had a substitute the past couple days, so no hard work. Then, for tomorrow I'll have to study a bit for the first American History test, even if Wednesday is a half-day, and I'll have to half-ass some logo for Art. I despise logos. Just because. I've also got an appointment to take my permit test around three or so, I believe. So, that's a half-day, hurray!
For this weekend, I believe Billy wants us to go to Brent's on Sunday, stay over until Monday since it's Labor Day and I'll have no school while Billy will have no work. Aside from that, there's not much else to talk about. Time to get to work!
And as a little side note, since you know an entry of mine can never not have a mention about games, listening to this remix is giving me flashbacks of fighting the Axem Rangers really badly. Ugh.. lately I've been really nostalgic about Super Mario RPG and Earthbound. I hope Nintendo brings Mother 1 + 2 for the GBA over here..

Something's happening here.. what is it.. ?
I'm going to redo this entire journal now, new layout and new info fanciness and other such good stuff. I'll do this mostly next week, since this weekend, along with that I'll be busy. This most is mainly for one announcement:
I'm switching this journal to Friends Only.
Why? Because I'd like my friends only to read this. Well, in any case, most of the new things I'm doing won't happen until next week. Icons? Maybe. Layout? Definite idea. User info? Probably more image-heavy. I was going to make a new user altogether, but I forget they come up as free users. And since Blurty is still a reliable server, and there's really no other server to switch to now, this is all I need. So, yeah. Excitement? Probably not.

All-new! Brent with that fresh, just picked from North Dakota smell!
So, my two week vacation has come and gone. Should I update on things which I did up there? Why not. The things I kept myself busy with:
For the most part, I read. And read a lot I did. Finished the three book Covenant series with Brent gave me to read, which was wonderful. Like he said, you really wonder if Covenant and the others are even going to damn live. Especially with him and his leprosy. I enjoyed that little fact a lot. Made it good and different. After those were done, I read The Hand of Thrawn duology in SW novels, as well as the first two books in the New Jedi Order series. Yuuzhan Vong are nasty bastards. Very very nasty.
Between reading times, I played my GBA mostly. Metroid Fusion and the Megaman Battle Networks I played a lot, getting all the way in and out of the WWW area in MMBN 2, as well as beating Alpha in MMBN3. Dammit, he was a pain. With Metroid Fusion, I finally found every last damn energy tank, missile tank, and power bomb tank. And to boot, I beat the game under 2:00 with all of it once I figured out where everything was. .. At 1:59. One more minute and I wouldn't have had it. Nervousness ensued fighting the SA-X and Omega Metroid.
That's what I spent most of my time doing.. my mom was busy with stuff of her mom, who died sometime in February I think, so she had to sort through all of her stuff with her sister and try to figure out who to give what of it all. Then, after that was all done, we just stayed with my dad's mom in a different town, not too far out, and I better much just did what I described above.
A couple fun highlight points: the Fargo mall had DDR, hence the music I'm listening to now. Also, my mom had phone cards so I got to call Jenn a couple times while I was up there. And, when I got back yesterday, Billy was all ready to go to Wal-Mart, so I was made to go get groceries for my mom. But yes.. weekend plans now I guess. This Saturday we hope to go down to Brent's house in Tampa. To do what? Waste time. Oh yes. Then next weekend is Metrocon, a weekend full of fun and madness, including paper routes mayhap, Brent? Oh yes, the glory of it.
Today? Jenn hopefully will come over. That's all I need right now, after two weeks of not seeing her or talking to her much.

So, I guess I should update once before I go. I'm going down to Orlando on Wednesday, leaving in the morning Thursday to North Dakota, just like every other year in and out. Two weeks we'll be gone this time, can't remember if it was shorter or longer than last year. But yeah, I'll most likely be bored out of my skull up there. And lonely, but we'll leave that away from this post. I don't want this getting long. Hopefully I can somehow get money to get my hands on Megaman Battle Network 3 before I go, and hopefully that'll keep me busy for two weeks. Other than that, who knows.. probably'll read a lot. That's what I've always done before on these trips. Sure, I'll enjoy getting out of Florida weather for a couple weeks, but not being in contanct with so many friends could drive me a bit insane. But, yeah. I'll be back.. not exactly sure. Sometime around two weeks after Thursday. So, this post'll be my goodbye in case I miss you between now and before we leave on Wednesday.

EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to mention just how cool the Baroque Works are from One Piece. They're just great. .. Why, that was a useless edit. I was hoping I'd go and rant on about them but I ran out of steam. I'll just go watch the episodes with Mr. 5 again..

Almost done with the first Rockman EXE episode.. about half an hour left. I've already watched the intro enough times. Quite spiffy. Also, beat Battle Network 2, since the first time I never bothered. Hell, now I'm beating all of the Level 3 Navis with S's. Doing a lot better, and the game itself it much more fun. Also started up the first Battle Network again, just because I never did get the last couple chips I needed last time to be able to fight Bass.EXE. This time, though.. bwahah.
Today? Don't know what I'll do. Hopefully Jenn can come over today, unlike yesterday. Aside from that.. uh.. nothing?

You know, maybe I should update this thing.. well, let's see. I'm not even going to bother checking when the last time I updated was. What have I been doing recently, we'll go with. I've been playing my GBA quite a lot recently, what with Pokemon Ruby and both Megaman Battle Networks. That's taken up a lot of time in itself. Then, there's watching the Futurama boxed set. Very nice it is, watching all of the commentry.
Past week I've spent with Brent, Jenn, and Kyle for the most part. At least one of those people. And Billy has finally returned to the world of the living. Also got to see Dave and Tasha again for the final day Brent was around, and Tasha was being all nice and saying that if Jenn and I were ever bored or anything we could call them and just go.. sit around or something. We're all such losers. So, yeah, did random stuff this week with friends.
Now, what will I do this week? I don't know. Waiting for my One Piece set to come in.. episodes 53-70, I think? Must be. Maybe today it'll be here. I'm trying to very slowly download the Rockman EXE series (Battle Network) from Kazaa, with about six hours to go on the first episode. Sudden, large urge wanting to see it. Don't really know what else to say now.. I'll try to update this more regularly again.

Aie, what to say.. slowly watching RahXephon, getting into one of my strategy game phases (Warcraft II and Galactic Battlegrounds, anyone?). Jenn came over here yesterday, so I got to see six episodes of Fruits Basket. If only I could find Haru in a hentai doujinshi to go up with the rest of my icons.. getting hard to find the ones I need now. Watched Shinesman for the second time while she was over, as well. Then a lot of random tapes. That was pretty much the event of yesterday.
Today, Jenn shall probably come over again later, once my mom gets home so I can ask her. Right now I'm having an urge to try Megaman Battle Network 2 again. Maybe I'll actually get into it and like it this time. So many things on my agenda of things to get, I just need some money now.. g'aaah.. more One Piece especially. It's about time to get the next set. But whatever, I'm bored.

New icons, go look at the three so far. Alucard from Hellsing, Sanji from One Piece, Icchan from Angelic Layer. What's so special about these icons? Something caused by late night insanity, I've decided to make a set of icons based around hentai doujinshis of series that I currently like. Hopefully, I won't finish this today since it's so late and I can't see right anymore, I can find Watanabe from Excel Saga, Kakashi from Naruto, Ryu from Shaman King, and/or Cougar from Scryed. I just have to look through the manga pages I've found.
On a very special note: the Alucard icon is a bit more special than just being from a hentai doujinshi. The manga where I got it from is by Hirano Kota himself, the creator of Hellsing. The manga itself, "Legend of the Vampire Hunter (Slayer?)" was a prototype, to say, for the Hellsing series. It features Alucard as you see there, a brown-haired prototype of Seras, and prototype versions of the Warren brothers (I think that's they're names). Something I stumbled across tonight trying to entertain myself.

Main events over the past few days.. uh, hm. Still playing Earthbound Zero even now and then when I'm home, but I'm usually out with Jenn, Alex, and Ashleigh. Though my mom wants me to kind of ease down a bit the next few days. Still hoping to go out tomorrow, anyways.
But today I'm sitting around home. Finishing up all the random anime bits I have on my computer, finished up twenty-six Shaman King episodes now and I'm working on RahXephon, currently on episode eight. Also starting playing Devil May Cry again, as well as the Jedi Outcast rental. Also borrowed Shinesman from Ashleigh and watched that, as well as reading all of Angelic Layer manga yesterday in pretty much one sitting.
Still waiting for some manga that I'm looking forward to to come out. I haven't heard anything at all for manga of Shaman King, but I have heard something about Naruto, saw the cover and all, but didn't see a date. And just yesterday, while I was looking through the new Shonen Jump at the mall, I found out that the first One Piece manga comes out on July 14th. Huzzah for me.
Not much else to say right now.. working on downloading the New Year's Special for Shaman King (about 120,000 KBs out of 190,000 KBs so far; four hours or so left), probably will get back to playing some more Earthbound Zero or something. Not too much else to say, I guess?

Maybe I've just been too lazy, but I now realize I haven't updated this thing in a week. I don't know what there really is to say to sum up the past week, anyway. Graduation parties for the most part, as well as going down to Tampa on Tuesday and Wednesday to stay with Brent and go to his actual graduation. Recently found him a copy of Shadow of the Beast for Genesis for his gift, and got the first Castlevania on NES for me. Also, seems I'm getting myself back into M:TG yet again, as I bought a few more packs, which is something I haven't done in awhile. Other than that.. I don't know. I haven't been doing too much out of the ordinary. Well, I have been playing Earthbound Zero insanely via emulator since I never have before. I do hope Nintendo brings Mother 1 + 2 and Mother 3 here for GBA.. I would really, really enjoy that..
